Founded in 2000, Commercial Property Tax Management, LLC (CPTM) is a national property tax consulting firm specializing in all aspects of real and personal property tax valuation, compliance, audits, appeals and tax bill processing.
Headquartered in the greater Boston metropolitan area, CPTM works with a network of professionals that are recognized and respected nation-wide as experts in their fields. Our tax specialists provide in-depth solutions to complex tax issues.
CPTM has compiled a team of seasoned tax professionals to manage and provide tax minimization programs for a varied portfolio of clients. CPTM is one of the few independent property tax consulting firms with valuation consultants having both municipal assessment and real estate appraisal experience, including MAI designations. Our industry expertise ensures premium level compliance services and maximizes tax savings opportunities.

Mr. Bigg founded the company in 2000 with the vision to become the nation's most respected property tax consulting firm. Prior to founding CPTM, Mr. Bigg was a Tax Manager at Deloitte & Touche, responsible for assets in the Northeast. In the 1980's, Mr. Bigg was involved in commercial, industrial and residential brokerage and appraisal. Mr. Bigg is affiliated with, or has served as a member of, Commercial-Investment Real Estate Council, New Hampshire Board of Realtors, Greater Manchester Board of Realtors, New Hampshire Association of Realtors, Realtors National Marketing Institute CCIM, Hooksett, NH Planning Board (Chairman).

Mr. Potter started with the company in 2004 as a valuation expert and quickly moved into the role of tax consultant. Mr. Potter has over eleven years of experience in the real estate valuation and consulting industry. Prior to becoming a partner of the company, Mr. Potter was a senior tax consultant providing consulting services to both residential and commercial property owners across the United States, with an emphasis on properties located in the Northeast. As CEO, Mr. Potter is directly responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of CPTM. Mr. Potter is a licensed real estate appraiser and a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.

Mr. Lisk heads CPTM's Real Estate Tax Consulting Practice. Mr. Lisk has over twenty-five years of experience working with complex valuation issues in real estate and corporate transactions. Prior to joining CPTM, Mr. Lisk directed operations and lending for a national specialty real estate finance firm. He also has held management and executive positions with Capital Lease Funding, Bank of Boston and BayBanks. Mr. Lisk graduated from Dartmouth College and received a Master of Business Administration from Whittemore School of Business and Economics.

Mr. St.Onge has more than fifteen years of property tax experience, specializing in Tangible Business Personal Property. He handles all aspects in the compliance and review of leasing, retail and utility properties and provides multiple national clients with fixed asset reviews, appeal and audit management as well as ghost asset studies. Prior to returning to CPTM, Mr. St.Onge worked for a regional consulting firm where he held the position of Manager, Tax Services. Mr. St.Onge is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation has successfully completed the IPT's Intermediate Personal Property Course.
Jonathan Simard

Mr. Simard has over twenty years of experience assisting real estate owners, managers, developers and investors with identifying tax savings opportunities and managing both real and personal property tax expenses. Jon is responsible for identifying and securing new client engagements. He also specializes in complex properties, including- data centers, R&D facilities, manufacturing, solar, hotels and resorts. Prior to joining CPTM, Mr. Simard was a Regional Manager for two National state and local tax consulting firms. He also held Regional Manager positions at Citicorp's Asset Finance Group and Westinghouse Finance. Mr. Simard is a member of Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT), is involved in community charitable organizations, and holds a degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Maine.
Steve Poole

Mr. Poole has extensive appraisal experience in a wide range of valuation assignments. His experience includes assignments of major corporate properties including office buildings, manufacturing plants, research and development facilities, shopping centers and industrial parks. In addition to corporate properties, Mr. Poole currently represents national hotel properties and major nursing home chains, retirement communities and subsidized housing projects.
Mr. Poole has over 27 years of experience in the valuation and tax consulting industry. He has been actively engaged at the national level since 1988. He worked for a number of national real estate and state and local tax consulting firms and a public accounting firm. Mr. Poole is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He has completed various appraisal and property management courses sponsored through the Appraisal Institute, International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
